Significant Land Deal Concluded in Rockland After Spirited Bidding
Fifty – eight acres of prime Rockland County real estate with easy access to the Garden State Parkway–240 Red Schoolhouse Road in Chestnut Ridge, NY–just changed ownership in a sale announced by T Square Properties, the veteran Commercial Real Estate brokerage that managed the deal.
According to Westchester-based T Square Properties’ Trevor Tunnell and Jay Hitt, “This is prime mixed use land composed of various zoning accommodations including commercial, laboratory, office, and residential. It is a unique aggregation with great potential for future development,” said Tunnell and Hitt. They noted that 18 acres had been recently rezoned for retail use, with the remaining forty acres containing two income producing properties, two residential properties and vacant land ready for development.
Given these resources the bidding process was spirited and competitive among the qualified participants. Only five minutes drive from another major thoroughfare, I-287, the location offers many advantages to the new owner.
Economic details of the purchase were not disclosed.
